Thembi 15.4.2000 - 1.2.2010
Last night, Thembi’s heart stopped beating, and we were at her side when she passed away. Thembi was an invincible hunter in heart and soul, a wonderful companion, and a fantastic mother to our As, Bs, and Cs. She was a lady who introduced us to the great world of dogs and our window to the mysterious world of a dog’s soul. Wherever she went, she was able to garner respect; wherever she went, her presence was felt. She showed us why a dog should be allowed to be a dog. Even though she accomplished many things and won countless awards in her lifetime, to us she is the winner of the Best in Show, the show being life.
Although it was not so long ago that we picked her up at the airport in Prague, this period is one dog’s life – her life. She gave us her whole life, and we a part of ours. It was an honour for us to have had the chance to share our lives together. |

With a small delay but still very proudly we are announcing that at the end of 2009 Kaktus mated two lovely girls - ICH Cassia Ranua at Ranua kennel and Ngikhona A'che Atieno at Ngikhona kennel (Germany, DZRR). We are waiting for pregnancy confimration with fingers crossed. |

Our D team is 3 months old and puppies are in their new homes. We wish all families lots of fun and long happy lives with our puppies. Photos keep coming, stay tuned for new D litter galleries!

Einstein lives with his uncle Kaktus and like Kaktus he is co-owned by Nyathi kennel. |
Týna as we call her stays in our family. This little girl stole our heart and she keeps us quite busy.

Little Connie, pet girl (3 crowns) was little sweatheart (with big heart and sharp mind). She is loved by her new mum Katka and lives in Prague |
Rosie (pet girl, 3 crowns) went to live with DIdzis to Ventspils (Latvia). She will have lots of fun running in beaches and hunting rabbits. |

Argi is our ridgeless boy who will keep his mum Markéta busy. He lives in Jesenice which is not far from us and the big part of D family.
|
Little Sara moved to her new home at New Years Eve and now stays in Spindleruv Mlyn - popular skiing resort. She is loved by her new family including labrador Jess. |
Last but not least is little stunner Boss. He moved to Riga/Latvia and is loved by Maruta and her family. He has the best God-mum Kristine and the Liberta family. |

Honzik has another champion offspring! Ayo Ari Liberta placed BOB and BIS-4 at specialty on Sunday which makes him Latvian Champion!!! Congratulations! |

We are back from this year's last show-weekend. The final destination was Kassel and we brought back two new titles for Kaktus!
Saturday - National show judged by Lothar Scheider, Kaktus in Champion class - Exc. 1CAC and res CAC-club and NEW CHAMPION OF GERMANY
Sunday - International show judged by Gisa Schicker, Kaktus in Champion class - Exc. 1 CAC, CAC-club and CACIB and NEW INTERCHAMPION |

Areta got some really nice news for us all from a trip to Kaliningrad, Russia - judge I.Shvecs. Areta Ari Liberta - EXC1, RU CAC, BOB and on top of it - Best in Group 2!!! Mega congratulations to the owner Sanita and breeder Kristine! Very happy for you both!
